What GA4 data you get
Once connected, the following metrics are available in the Pages module and Actions engine for every URL in your GA4 property:- Sessions and users per URL — raw traffic volume to each page over your selected date range
- Average engagement time per session — how long visitors actively engage before leaving
- Traffic channel breakdown — organic, direct, referral, social, and other channel attribution per page
- Engagement rate — the percentage of sessions that include more than 10 seconds of engagement or a meaningful page interaction

GA4 and Pages
Once connected, the Pages module shows engagement metrics alongside GSC and AI citation data — giving you a single view of how each URL performs across search, traffic, and AI visibility. Use the low engagement time filter to find pages that attract traffic but fail to hold attention. These pages typically have thin content, poor structure, or mismatched search intent — a strong signal for a content quality pass.Using engagement data in Actions
VeluraHQ’s Actions engine factors engagement time and session quality into opportunity scoring. A page ranking at position 8 with 45-second average engagement time scores differently than the same page with 3-minute engagement time — because the underlying content quality signal is different. This helps you prioritize recovery opportunities where a quality improvement is most likely to drive measurable ranking and traffic gains, rather than chasing positions on pages that already convert poorly.VeluraHQ matches GA4 data to Search Console data by canonical URL. Ensure your GA4 property uses consistent URL formats — with or without trailing slash, and consistent use of subdomains — to maximize match rates between the two data sources. Mismatched URL formats can result in pages appearing in GSC without corresponding GA4 data.
